CREATIONS

OBJECTS

D&M is a company for and by nature. Our design team starts every season by creating moodboards in order to determinate key seasonal colors. Inspiration for shapes and finishes is found in natural phenomena. Patterns of the rainforest; the trees, the structure of moss, but also irregular surfaces seen in rock formations or even the lunar landscape can be a source of inspiration.

Every season we have some items in collection that are very unique because of their design or function.
We call this limited range “OBJECT”.

Are you looking for rare objects only available in limited editions? Discover purity and handicraft in our “OBJECT” range.

COLLECTIONS IN THE SPOTLIGHT

BY ANOUK TAEYMANS

Anouk Taeymans is a no-nonsense designer and interior stylist, based in Antwerp.
After graduating as an architect, Anouk moved to Oslo, where she was completely immersed in Scandinavian style.
Once back in Belgium, Anouk had two clear goals: become an entrepreneur and design her own objects.

Anouk chooses our CREPI collection as her favourite. "I think the best thing about this flower pot is its natural look. You have a very matt, rough exterior that seems to refer to tree bark. On the inside, you have a shiny surface with an undulation that in turn refers to moving water. I find the contrast of these two sides very beautiful. - says Anouk.

BY PAULIEN RIEMIS

Paulien Riemis is a 30 year old literature graduate, former model and so-called internet adventurer — she started surfing the early waves of the web as a kid, and has been inspiring her online audience for over 12 years now. From her eclectic home in Antwerp she shares daily looks, interior tips and travel stories with her international following. Her thrift shop obsession as a teenager left her with an eye for the best interior items. These days she still mixes secondhand pieces with home-made ceramics and timeless must-haves from local labels. For Paulien D&M creates the perfect sophisticated accessories that can blend in, yet stand out — however she feels like combining them season after season!
“My favourites? I will always choose soft, organic shapes, natural materials and a bold eye-catcher once in a while.”
“I can trust D&M to create a timeless base in my interior: soft, organic shapes, natural materials and a bold eye-catcher once in a while.”
